Hollywood actor Sean Penn said he will refuse to return to the set of his latest film series until 100% of the crew are vaccinated.
Penn stars in Gaslit, a political series related to the Watergate burglary, but refuses to report to the set until NBCUniversal forces everyone on the film team to get vaccinated.
« My feeling is that if I believe, as I do, that you have every right to stay home if you don’t want to be vaccinated, » said Penn.
« I don’t think people have a right to put loaded guns in other people’s faces, which is what they do when they walk into the population without makeup, » he said. « Knowing that the federal government has restrictions and private companies can make vaccinations mandatory, I just didn’t want to be complicit in being part of a company that didn’t. » Penn continued that the guidelines already in place are not strict enough on social distancing.
