“I enjoy working with strikers and usually my strikers score a lot of goals each season. Scoring goals is important, but for my vision of football it is very important that my number nine is a reference point for our preparations during the week.
« Harry is a world class striker and I am very happy to to be his trainer. We can certainly do important things with Harry, but not only him because Harry is a gamer.

« Harry is an important player, but don’t forget that we win with the team and the whole squad and we lose with the whole squad and team. He’s got to take on a lot of responsibility, but so do the others. ”
One of Conte’s most important early tasks at Spurs will be to get Kane back in shape after shooting another gap during a stalemate with Everton. but he’s at least had a productive time with England.
The Three Lions captain scored a hat trick against Albania and scored four goals against San Marino on Monday.

Happy to see Kane in goal, Conte added: “Scoring is never easy so I’m happy for him and the national team as England are now ready to go to the World Cup in Qatar to play. It’s a good success.
“You have seen Italy, we are forced to have the play-off. I’m happy for Harry because he met with England. We’re talking about a world class striker and he’s an important player for us so it’s a boost for him to score. And I’m very happy because I have the opportunity to get to know him a lot better.
“I understood that he is a top player in many ways. He wants to train very, very hard and improve. It’s fantastic for me because my first job is to improve the players, take the players to another level, another step. I think a lot of players can do that in this team. ”
Spurs will have to do without Cristian Romero (upper tendon) and Oliver Skipp (suspended) when they visit Leeds. Giovani Lo Celso (knee) has yet to be examined, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg should be ready to go.
