CM – Brandi Redmond talks about the car accident that killed her mother-in-law

"And she died from what we know about the effects, and Brinkley did it by the grace of God, and it's crazy because she's perfect."

Real Housewives of Dallas star Brandi Redmond had an emotional moment on Tuesday’s reunion special when she remembered last year’s tragic car wreck that led to the death of her mother-in-law.

The 42-year-old reality star tearfully described the October tragedy in which her husband’s mother, Jill Marie Redmond, was killed and her 9-year-old daughter Brinkley was injured.

« They went to my sister-in-law’s children and left their neighborhood. They were hit by an 18-wheeler and they were drugs and the car turned around and then the truck, the 18-wheeler, fell on them and the car was completely broken, « she explained to the group.

» And [Jill] died – for what we know – on impact and Brinkley did it by the grace of God and it’s crazy because she’s perfect, « added Brandi, tearing it open. « And she had some broken bones and a few scratches, but they don’t even know how she survived. But she did. »

Brandi and her husband Bryan started dating in high school and hooked up in 2003 They have four children: daughters Brinkley, Brooklyn, 11, and Brilynn, 2 months, and son Bruin, 2.

Brandi previously thanked fans for their support at the time of the accident in October via Instagram.

« My husband’s beautiful mother continued to be with our Savior and my sister-in-law said best … so I ask you to keep my family in your prayers during this difficult time, » she wrote to the Time. « I beg you to pick up my sweet Brinkley while she continues to heal and that God protect your heart and eyes from this tragedy. I am so grateful for her life. This is probably the most grateful pain I have ever felt. » . «
