CM – BREAKING: Several agencies respond to the quick chase that ends in Grand Ledge


GRAND LEDGE, Mich. (WILX) – At around 6:30 a.m., several authorities responded to a call from a vehicle traveling on the M-100 at over 100 mph.

Reportedly located one person in custody while the authorities search for a second. The suspect is described as a black man, 1.70 m tall, weighs 200 pounds and has short hair. He may be wearing a mask and was last seen near Greenwood St and Front St. Eaton County 911 advises residents to stay indoors with the doors locked.

News 10 was first on the scene when the Michigan State Police, the Ionia County Sheriff, the Grand Ledge Police, and the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office turned one House on the corner of Greenwood and Front Streets surrounded after the vehicle crashed into its property, damaging the yard and leading two suspects to flee on foot.
