CM – Clutch hit, assist from Hernández beat A’s

Hernández played a pivotal role in Boston’s 3-2 win over the A’s at Oakland Coliseum, drove with an RBI single in the top of the 10th tie run on the plate with a perfect assist at the bottom of the frame, to deny the A and keep Boston’s hot streak going.

A’s shortstop Elvis Andrus finished the game in the ninth game with a home run, his first of the season to send the game to the extras, but Hernández was the one Star on both sides of the game that secured the win for Boston.
