CSI fans, get ready for more Gil Grissom! William Petersen played as Grissom in the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, one of the most popular TV series from 2000 to 2010. To the delight of the fans, the 68-year-old actor takes on his role in the new CSI: Vegas. On the show, he meets with onscreen woman Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox).
Grissom and Sidle experienced some ups and downs in their relationship, first going out in secret, then getting married, then separating. The series finale showed them back together and sailed into the sunset. They lived on a boat in South America until they were called back to the crime lab. William told TVInsider about Gil and Sara’s relationship: “Our attraction for each other has always been work. We were always in a kind of mental fusion when we worked with Tatort as Sara. She did it. She has him, and he eventually has her. «
William left the show as one of the highest paid actors on television and has since largely avoided the limelight by focusing on a theater career rather than television or movies. We know all about it William’s on-screen relationship, but what’s his love story in real life?
William married Gina Cirone, a former biology teacher in 2003 after dating for several years, and according to EW, the couple are in the dreamy town of Petrignano, Italy Closed for life. They followed their wedding with a European honeymoon.
This is William’s second marriage. He was previously married to Joanne Brady from 1974 to 1981.
William and Joanne had one child, Maite Petersen, in 1975 . Matie has two sons of her own, 18-year-old Mazrik William and 12-year-old Indigo August. Correct! Grissom is a grandfather.
More than 35 years later, William was reunited he father. On July 5, 2011, William and Gina welcomed twins through a surrogate mother: a boy and a girl. The babies were born prematurely and at the time the couple was telling people, « The babies are doing great and improving every day and we can’t wait for them to get home. » The couple did not publish their names.
William told the Chicago Tribune in 2017 that he was taking a break from network television to focus on his then six-year-old twins: “I had a relationship with CBS that was gold standard. And when CSI ended, I just decided that I was going to spend as much time as possible with my two (children). I just spend my time chasing them around.
