Connecticut residents are warned to be on high alert for an « armed and dangerous » suspect following an incident in a local orchard, officials said.
There was a major one in Hartford County, Southington City Police presence reported as investigators ask the public for help in locating the suspect last seen in the Rogers Orchards area.
Police describe him as a 31-year-old Hispanic man who stands approximately six feet is tall and weighs 180 pounds, with dark facial hair and possibly a beard.
On Facebook, Rogers Orchards posted about the activity on their Sunnymount farm on Route 322 – which is currently closed for the season – while also noting that Shuttle Meadow Farm is open for business and everyone is “safe and sound”.
According to officials, people should stay in their homes unless there is a need to leave. If anyone discovered the suspect, they were instructed to call 911 and not speak to him.
