CM – Dangerfield hospitalized after colliding with Greene


Geelong’s AFL superstar Partick Dangerfield was hospitalized with a neck injury after surviving a high defense from Toby Greene of Greater Western Sydney.

Greene raised his forearm to in the first quarter of the competition on Friday night Dangerield shrugged a tackle at GMHBA Stadium.

The injured GWS made forced changes to her team seven during the week and lost star midfielder Josh Kelly hours before the game to a quad complaint.

They conceded the first goal within 30 seconds when Cats defender Jake Kolodjashnij snuck forward unnoticed to score the first goal of his 127-game career.

But GWS struck back surprisingly when Greene’s clever snap shot one Streak of five goals in a row for the visitors began, while they were 25 points ahead in the second quarter.
