Don Cheadle was recently nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his extremely brief cameo on the Disney series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Cheadle, who is less than two minutes in the Series appeared, took to Twitter to respond to his nomination, apparently as surprised as many. The eleven-time Emmy-nominated actor said, “Thank you, best regards. Sorry haters. agreed, i don’t really get it either. buuuuuuuuuut keep it up. ”
His nomination resulted in the actor repeating his role as Colonel James“ Rhodey ”Rhodes and only making a cameo in the opening episode, about Falcon and the Winter Soldier in the main timeline of the Marvel Universe to involve. Fans were also quick to respond with an account that said, “Don Cheadle was in Tfatws for about a minute and was nominated for an Emmy. King things. ”Another said,“ As much as I like Don Chadle. carl lumbly deserves a nomination by far. ”Polarizing reactions to the nomination of Cheadle were put on opposite ends of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
