A driver miraculously survived an accident in Mandurah after his car was split in half after an alleged high-speed chase.

The man was spotted by police at around 12.50pm on Friday, who allegedly were ruthlessly driving a Holden Commodore at the intersection of Stinton Street and Blakeley Street.

The 24-year-old man is said to have failed for the Stopping officials, lost control of the car after a brief chase and hit a wall on Mandurah Terrace.

The 24-year-old was charged with two counts of reckless driving, one for failing to follow an instruction to stop and one for No driving license.
