1. T20I preview: After Pakistan took a clear victory in the three-game ODI series from a new-looking English team, Pakistan is aiming for favorable results in the three-game T20I from Friday at Trent Bridge in Nottingham Series on.

The shortest format of the game is pretty significant as both sides want to refine their gameplay and determine their likely XIs before the T20I World Cup later this year.

From England, the world’s number one again expected to be a major challenge for Pakistan.

Visitors will rely on players like Babar Azam, who beat a century in the last ODI, and Mohammad Rizwan with the bat. The focus will also be on debut and middle-class batsman Azam Khan, son of Moin Khan.

Eoin Morgan and Co will go on the field as favorites. Lewis Gregory, Jake Ball, Saqib Mahmood and Matt Parkinson could have the chance to put their skills to the test in the shortest possible format after their appearances in the ODIs.

England: Jason Roy, Jos Buttler (w), Dawid Malan, Jonny Bairstow, Eoin Morgan (c), Moeen Ali, David Willey, Lewis Gregory, Saqib Mahmood, Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan, Jake Ball, Tom Curran, Liam Livingstone, Matthew Parkinson, Tom Banton

Gregory, one of five players in England’s XI who made their ODI debut, played his part with a measly win 1-11 in four overs in the 1st ODI against Pakistan

Haris, who has complained of a right leg injury, missed several training sessions and the national team’s two intra-squad games in Derbyshire.

An MRI scan performed on Wednesday found the 32-year-old had a third-degree tear injury sustained during a training session in Derby last week.
