Ukraine reached an agreement with the European football association UEFA that banned the slogan “Honor the Heroes” on the shirts of the Ukrainian team.
Ukrainian football president Andriy Pavelko said the agreement was another slogan Including “Glory of Ukraine” printed on the appropriate space, although it did not make it clear whether the original slogan would still be visible.
“Negotiations with UEFA about a new design for the national team of Ukraine are in progress completed. They were extremely difficult, they literally reached a dead end several times, ”Pavelko wrote on Facebook before the team’s opening game against the Netherlands tomorrow evening. « But we still managed to reach a victorious compromise with UEFA! »
Kevin De Bruyne will miss Belgium’s first European Championship game against Russia today, confirmed the Belgian team.
De Bruyne broke up Champions League final eye socket and nose and had a minor operation last week. He only met his Belgian team-mates on Monday. Midfielder Axel Witsel is also recovering from an Achilles tendon injury.
“Axel Witsel and Kevin De Bruyne did not travel to Russia. They stayed at Tubize (Belgian training camp) to continue their recovery, ”says the Belgian Red Devils’ Twitter account.
