CM – Ex-Aussie cricketer hospitalized after stroke

"She talks a little"

Former Australian cricketer Michelle Goszko was hospitalized after a stroke on Saturday.

News of Goszko’s recording was announced by former international teammate Lisa Stalekar during a WBBL broadcast on Seven Network.

« She’s in intensive care [and] she talks a bit and is slowly getting better. The cricket community is sure to have your back, Gozzy. »

Goszko, 44, played four games between 2001 and 2006 Test matches for Australia, celebrating a double century in her debut against England.

She also appeared in 34 ODI matches for women and made 669 runs averaging 25.73.
