The Friends Reunion Special revealed secrets about the show that even die-hard fans may not have known.
The Cast – Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow , Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry – remembered their time together and pulled back the curtain of a television juggernaut.
While their characters Ross and Rachel were embroiled in a high-profile love story, fans have the actors, who played them may not have known and almost followed in their footsteps.
« I had a crush on Jen in season one, » revealed Schwimmer. “And I think we both hit each other hard at some point, but it was like two ships were going by because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that line. We respected that. “
Aniston agreed and confirmed that her first kiss appeared on the screen as Ross and Rachel hugged at the Central Perk coffeehouse.
She said, » So we have all of our adoration and love in Ross and Rachel directs. «

Season three, in which no one is ready, is best known for the moment Joey walks into the room wearing Chandler’s clothes.
However, during the special it was revealed that the episode also resulted in injury one of the cast was leading.
It featured a plot between Chandler and Joey arguing over a chair and LeBlanc had to jump on the furniture.
The first three attempts were « perfect, » the producers said, but the fourth caused LeBlanc to dislocate his shoulder.

Kudrow, in the role of Phoebe, sat with the Guitar in hand on the Central Perk sofa to perform her famous song Smelly Cat.
She was soon joined in a duet by Lady Gaga before she was later joined by gospel singers.

During a Q&A segment, the stars were asked if there was any part of the show they didn’t like.
It revealed that the animal was often carefully choreographed Messed up cast movements and otherwise left perfect shots on the cutting room floor.
And worse, according to Schwimmer, Marcel’s handler would feed him live bugs, which he would then eat and wipe the actor’s hands.

The producers revealed the » crazy « reaction from the studio audience when it first became known that Monica and Chandler had spent the night together, persuading them to follow up on the plot instead of leaving it one-off.

Fans will be thrilled to see some of the show’s most popular supporting characters who have returned for the special.
That included Larry Hankin, who played the loud neighbor, Mr. Heckles. The barbershop quartet, with which Ross delivered a message congratulating Rachel on her new job, also showed up.
Joey’s twin hands, played by Thomas Lennon, hugged LeBlanc while Tom Selleck, who was Monica’s older friend Richard appeared, the cast also surprised.
There was an emotional moment when Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles – who played the Gellers’ parents – showed up in the studio audience.
