The Ontario government announced further COVID-19 restrictions on Monday due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant and said the province will revert to a modified Step 2 of the reopening plan.
Premier Doug Ford announced the new measures during a press conference as COVID-19 hospital admissions and cases increased across the province.
