A Big Bird costume stolen from an Adelaide circus was returned with the outfit days after the bandits started.
Two men were seen wearing the bright yellow costume near the Bonython Park in northwest Adelaide, where it had been removed over the weekend.
The police were called on site just before 5am on Wednesday and found the outfit in a power box.
« We had one great time with Mr Bird, he’s a great guy and no harm has been done to our friend.
The Sesame Street Circus Spectacular will be performing in the park through May 2nd before moving to another suburb of Adelaide.
« Big Bird was safely brought back to us at Bonython Park! » wrote the circus on its Facebook page.
