The annual National Memorial Day concert on PBS is back and just like in years past, it’s guaranteed to be a show full of stars you won’t want to miss. Traditionally, the concert is broadcast live from the US Capitol on the last Sunday in May and has more than half a million visitors. In 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, producers switched to a pre-recorded format. This year, the show will adhere to a similar virtual setup to adhere to security protocols.

The 32nd Annual National Memorial Day Concert will once again be co-hosted by Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna and will feature 90 minutes of heartfelt, patriotic performances and tributes honoring the sacrifices of our nation’s service men and women and families of American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Where can you watch this indispensable television tradition that is the perfect addition to a weekend of barbecues and other family-friendly Memorial Day activities? The good news is that there are plenty of ways to tune in, including streaming options that are completely free.

This year’s National Memorial Day concert will air on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT on PBS. You can find your local broadcaster here. For troops who want to see the concert but are currently on active service worldwide, the American Forces Network will broadcast it live in over 1,000 branches in more than 175 countries.

The concert should also be broadcast on fuboTV, Sling TV, Hulu Live TV, Youtube Live TV, Roku and Xbox One will be available. Note, however, that you will need to have a cable login or sign up for a subscription or free trial to watch these platforms.

If you miss the premiere, don’t worry – PBS will air the special immediately after it first airs again around 9:30 p.m.

How do I watch the National Memorial Day concert for free when I don’t have a cable?
