Ineos Grenadiers took control of the Tour of Britain when they not only won the stage but also pushed Ethan Hayter into the leader’s jersey.
They drove 20 minutes and 22 seconds for the 18.2 km event , as front runner Robin Carpenter and his rally team only finished 11th.

The team time trial is not seen as often these days and it required teams of six to start together, with time set on the fourth rider to cross the finish line at the National Botanic Garden of Wales in Carmarthenshire.
