Five people were rushed to hospital after a car went off the road and plowed into a busy Starbucks cafe on the Gold Coast.
The magenta Mitsubishi Mirage was driven by a man in his 70s when he hit the Broadbeach site on Friday afternoon, paramedics say.

The Queensland Ambulance Service says four people were transported to Robina Hospital and another patient was transferred to Gold Coast University Hospital.
