It’s the final day of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Mount Juliet and there’s not much of a local challenge.
That said, Ardglass’s Cormac Sharvin was after round three the best ranked Irish golfer, aiming for the best European Tour result of his career, but reaching the top 14.
Earlier in the day, Rory McIlroy had a disappointing bogey-bogey finish, around the week with a two over par 74 to get in with -2, one behind Graeme McDowell who ended up with a two over 74.
The real Irish maker of the morning was Shane Lowry, whose 6 under par 66 put him in -9 for the week.
