Reality TV star Josh Duggar was reportedly arrested Thursday by federal agents in Arkansas in connection with the used car dealer he once owned there.
A mug shot released by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office showed Duggar Looked slightly disheveled and with a grin on his face.
It’s unclear what charges he’s facing – but his arrest is related to a 2019 Homeland Security raid on his now-closed used car store in Springdale, Ark., a source said told The Sun.
« The family knew this was coming for weeks and Josh was preparing, » the source said.
« Family members are extremely concerned about what is happening, and they just want to Find out the truth. «
Duggar, the oldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar’s 19 children, became famous on 19 Kids and Counting, a TLC show about the family.
The show became famous in 2015canceled after allegations surfaced that Duggar molested several underage girls – including four of his sisters – as a teenager.
Duggar also resigned from his position with the Family Research Council, a Washington DC-based Christian lobby group. </ Another scandal struck in 2015 after it was revealed that he was using Ashley Madison, an online dating service for married people.
Duggar admitted cheating on his wife Anna, 33, and later entered a faith-based rehab program and attended marriage counseling.
