Billionaire Riyu Li eased his estate in the Tallebudgera Valley and sold the Wirlinga Park cattle ranch for $ 5.35 million.
The sale comes because Mr. Li has two more properties for sale in the valley – his Bellagio La Villa, a mansion and a plot of land where he had planned an extreme adventure park.
Wirlinga on Tallebudgera Creek Road was purchased for $ 3.95 million in 2015 and sold in two packages.
One of 64.25 hectares was purchased from Inprop Australia, owned by Sorrento-based Scott Bradford and his family, for $ 3.2 million.
The buyer of the remainder of Wirlinga, 41.54 hectares, is Burleigh Heads-based Lucinda Barry, who paid $ 2.15 million.
Mr. Li, who paid $ 28 million for Mariner’s Cove at Southport Spit last year, is demanding $ 50 million for Bellagio La Villa, which sits on 49 hectares and has been compared to a large European estate.
Six years ago he bought 162 acre Tally Valley rainforest property on Ryans Road for $ 3.5 million.
The property, which was earmarked for a 1.33 km zip line, luge, and 14 km four-wheel drive three weeks ago, was marketed by Raine and Horne Broadbeach for $ 6 million or offers through Debbie Frizelle.
Ms. Frizelle said there has been tremendous interest in the property, which is not only from the Gold Coast, but also from the interstate and offshore.
