Alabama will not be rebuilt, but will be reloaded. Despite the loss of DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle to the NFL, the Crimson Tide have plenty of talent at wide receivers for the 2021 season.
The Crimson Tide already know what they have in John Metchie III, who has 55 receptions in his sophomore year had for 916 yards and six touchdowns. There is some uncertainty about the rest of the reception corps, however.
While we are still a few months away from the 2021 season, it appears that Agiye Hall will play a role in Alabama’s offense this fall.
Hall was sensational throughout the Alabama Spring Game this afternoon and has made several jaw-dropping receptions. His best catch of the day came in the second quarter when he made an excellent adjustment on a deep shot with close cover.
During the third quarter of action, Hall had an incredible catch near the right sideline. He showed tremendous body control and footwork at stake.
Hall is the No. 44 recruit and No. 5 recipient in his class, according to 247Sports. There may be some rough spots during his first season, but he looks like a future star for the Crimson Tide.
