CM – Man’s body found in WA National Park

While searching for a missing man in a Western Australian national park, police found a body.

The body of a missing man was found in Stirling Range National Park in southern Western Australia.

Police said they found the body near Mount Toolbrunup in an extensive search for 26-year-old Muhammad Ferdiansah discovered.

Mr. Ferdiansah’s family was informed of the discovery and police intend to recover his body on Monday.

Authorities had deployed a helicopter and drones along with local police and SES volunteers, to look for Mr. Ferdiansah after his car was found abandoned in the parking lot of Mt. Toolbrunup.

The national park in the Great Southern Region of WA is home to some of the highest mountain peaks in the state.
