Meghan McCain has officially forfeited her seat at the Hot Topics table.

The season 24 finale of View was doubled as McCain’s swan song after the conservative commentator previously announced she wouldn’t be returning for season 25 of the daytime talk show, which premiered in September.
At the end of the show on Friday, the outgoing panelist took a moment to reflect on her four-season run.
« I don’t know what else to say except thank you very much … for the privilege and the. » It’s an honor to work on this show, ”she began. “It was really amazing. It is referenced in everything I do for the rest of my life. It was amazing to work with you women. The crew, the producers… they all work so hard. ”Special thanks, she also thanked the audience,“ for giving me four years to express my opinion and show my perspective.
« That was a really wild one Go on, « McCain continued. “It was the best and worst of times in every way, both on and off the show. It was a really incredible, liberating experience and I will always cherish the time I spent with all of you. McCain’s farewell Also included pre-recorded congratulations from former House Speaker Paul Ryan and a virtual appearance from her mother Cindy McCain.

McCain had been a conservative voice on the daytime talk show since 2017 served.
