The Minnesota Department of Agriculture has received a $ 500,000 grant to support mental health in rural areas.
The USDA’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture recently had 50 beneficiaries totaling 25 million US dollars announced, including the MDA’s “Bend, Don’t Break” initiative.
Minnesota Farmers Union President Gary Wertish congratulated the department for receiving the grant and for leading the topic.
