Misano Adriatico: Jack Miller dominated the first day of practice of the Emilia-Romagna Motorcycle GP on Friday, while Fabio Quartararo, who could take the title this weekend, was outside the top ten.

With two races to go and 25 points for victory, Quartararo is 52 points ahead of Bagnaia and could take the title this weekend fetch.

At 22 it would be his first title and for France the first in the premier class of motorcycle racing.

This is the second race on the track in five weeks. Bagnaia beat Quartararo in milder weather at the San Marino GP in September.

Rossi from Tavullia, about 20 minutes from the circuit, will make his final appearance in front of a home crowd before retiring at the end of the season. He won in Misano in 2008, 2009 and 2014.
