CM – New cases related to the West Hoxton Party, participants isolated

Eleven people associated with a birthday party in West Hoxton tested positive for COVID-19.

NSW Health today announced 18 new cases of community transitions in the 24 hours through 8 p.m. last night known (13 of which were announced yesterday morning) and a further six were registered after the cut-off at 8 p.m.

Eight of the cases confirmed yesterday were related to the West Hoxton Party, which also included a previously reported case in connection with the Bondi cluster.

According to NSW Health, about 30 people attended the party, all of whom have been tested and are currently in isolation.

NSW Health said that nearly 50,000 COVID-19 were reported yesterday. Tests were conducted and thanked the community for continuing to sign up and be tested.

There are more than 300 proving grounds in NSW, including a drive-through area at the Fairfield Showground.
