TOKYO – Midlands Natalie Hinds and her 400 Freesytle team reached the finals on Saturday evening, after Team USA finished second in its prelim on Saturday morning at the Tokyo Aquatics Center.
Team USA finished with a time of 3: 34.80 second place behind Great Britain, who won the preliminary run with a time of 3: 34.03.
Hinds, who swam the fourth stage of the race, set the second best time of her teammates with 53.28.
The The best four teams in each of the two heats made it to the final, which will be televised at 9:45 p.m. on the NBA.
