A small plane crashed near Angwin Airport in Napa County on Friday morning, the county sheriff’s office announced.
The plane had three people on board when it was shortly after 8:40 a.m. fell into a vineyard near the airport, sheriff officials said.

Information about the condition of the people on board was initially not available. Officials from Cal Fire, the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are also responding to the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
