Police are investigating a series of explosions that occurred in Northcote, Ivanhoe and East Kew last night.
Officials visited both locations and found a number of rubbish bins and mailboxes that had been destroyed. </ A third incident occurred after an explosive device was placed in a washing machine located in the back of a utility company parked on Kilby Road, East Kew.
Detectives from the Darebin Crime Investigation Unit (CIU) are talking to detectives from the Boroondara and Banyule CIUs are working together to determine if the incidents are related.
