Prada and adidas have teamed up again to continue their shoe collaboration. The AP Luna Rossa 21 is now being updated with two new color variants – « Mgh Solid Gray / Matte Silver / Red », which was unveiled earlier this year, and « Core Black / Red ».
The partnership follows on from those released in 2020 Superstars of the duo. The AP Luna Rossa 21 is a design that combines the legacy of Prada and adidas with inspiration from sailing, more precisely the sneaker designed by the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team for the Prada Cup.
As the name suggests , the iteration « Mgh Solid Gray / Matte Silver / Red » arrives with matt gray tones throughout. The PRIMEGREEN upper, made from recycled materials, is complemented by a transparent E-TPU outer shell that shows the iconic Three Stripes on the sides. The shoe combines style with functionality and also has an EVA tongue with a quick lacing system. The kicks are rounded off by the perforated BOOST midsole from adidas. The “Core Black / Red” design keeps the same details and is completely black, with Prada’s signature red color on the heel.
Check out the details above. The gray and black A P Luna Rossa 21 sneakers will be launched worldwide on July 19th on Prada and adidas websites, flagship stores and boutiques. Each pair costs £ 450 (about USD 650).
