A smoke alarm remains in place from Mandurah to Yanchep, including the Perth Hills.

The Park and Wildlife Service says the current weather conditions are perfect to safely perform mandatory burns that are expected to continue in the coming days.

• If the smoke is particularly heavy it is recommended that doors and Close windows and turn off air conditioning.
• Smoke can affect visibility on some roads. Drivers should be careful to turn on their headlights and drive at a reasonable speed in these areas.
• People with asthma and pre-existing respiratory or cardiovascular disease should follow their prepared treatment plan.
• People with conditions exacerbated by smoke should take precautions under these circumstances in accordance with their medical advice.
