A cordon around properties in the suburb of Murrays Bay on the north coast has been lifted.
Officials put up a cordon on Sunrise Avenue between Wisteria Way and East Coast Road and asked residents to evacuate their homes .
The find, which remains unknown, was discovered after the group of armed criminals carried out a search warrant.
Police remain on the property and a number of inmates assisted the police in their investigations, he said .
« The area staff contacted the local schools near the barriers and the police made sure that all students could get to school safely this morning, » he said.
« We are aware of the traffic problems resulting from the operation this morning and we want to acknowledge the community’s cooperation. »
