Rihanna performed again in New York City wearing a sensational neon green ensemble, courtesy of British-Indian designer Supriya Lele.
Last night, Rihanna was photographed in New York in a sheer, low-cut neon green polo by Lele on the way to the Bowery Hotel, as seen in the designer’s fall-winter 2021 collection. She combined the look with an additional Lele design – a mini-model version of the black, sequined midi skirt by the designer from the spring-summer collection ’21 – and complemented it with chain necklaces, stud earrings and green velvet pumps.
Rihanna is no stranger to a bold, monochrome hue, advocating another almost neon fashion moment last week when she was on a dinner date with boyfriend A $ AP Rocky, who the singer is supposedly and constantly dating Rock, a vintage pink slip dress designed by John Galliano for Dior, developed a romance over the years. She rounded off this look with a matching pink bucket hat and was outfitted with pearl necklaces, pink nails, nude pumps and a white pearl shoulder bag by Fendi.
This isn’t her first rodeo with cut-out miniskirts either – the star became the last Spotted month in New York wearing the white pleated skirt by London designer Maximilian, which she paired with another green statement piece: Telfar’s logo track jacket.
Despite lingering rumors about their long-standing relationship, Rihanna and Rocky have only reportedly become an official item in the past few months. In a GQ feature released in May, Rocky talked about his serious relationship with Rihanna, calling it « the love of [his] life, » among other things.
This month he also shared his gratitude to Entertainment Tonight for the star’s unwavering support in its creative endeavors and projects, including notably his upcoming documentary, Stockholm Syndrome. « [It’s] important to have that support in real life, you know? » Rocky told the point of sale. « It’s amazing and, frankly, I’m really blessed, really. »
