Summer House fans will need a few loverboys to get through Season 6.
Amanda Batula confesses in an explosive trailer released Wednesday that she was discussing her engagement to her current husband Kyle Cooke.
« If I cancel the wedding, you don’t understand why, » said Batula, 30, Cooke, 39, during a conversation in her New York apartment.
Batula added: « Realize that our relationship is in danger here, » to which Cooke replies, « Our entire relationship is not my responsibility. »
Back in the Hamptons, Batula has a hearty chat with Beast and co-star Paige DeSorbo, who asks the bride-to-be, « Does he understand that he is literally on the verge of losing you? » Batula made us cry and mention that she canceled her engagement.
Batula also seeks advice from her other « Summer House » co-stars, including newcomer Mya Allen, who canceled her own engagement during quarantine.
In one scene, Batula, DeSorbo, 29, and Allen break down crying as they discuss Batula’s thoughts on the cancellation of their upcoming wedding.
« You really want to get married, [but] you couldn’t if you didn’t wanted, « says DeSorbo of her best friend.
Batula wipes back her tears when Allen joins in and says: » I was exactly in the position you are in. It was one of the hardest things of my life. ”
The couple finally made it down the aisle and tied the knot in Batula’s parents’ house in September, as Page Six exclusively reported. Many of her co-stars – including DeSorbo and boyfriend Craig Conover – attended the wedding, which will air during season 6.
DeSorbo and Conover, 32, officially began dating in October, but the season was approaching makes it clear that it was a rocky road to get there. DeSorbo first saw her Winter House co-star, Andrea Denver, and they still hung out over the summer.
Denver, 30, breaks down crying and says, « I really had feelings, it killed me « refers to DeSorbo, who arranged to meet Conover immediately after him.
