Former AFL star Nick Riewoldt, Olympic swimming champion Ian Thorpe and presenter Chrissie Swan are among the cast of this year’s Celebrity MasterChef series.
They will share their cooking skills with acclaimed Australian actors Rebecca Gibney and Matt Le Nevez, fashion designer Collette Dinnigan, singer Dami Im, football legend Archie Thompson, comedian Dilruk Jayasinha and Tilly Ramsay, daughter of British television presenter and chef Put Gordon Ramsay to the test.
Jurors Melissa Leong, Andy Allen and Jock Zonfrillo will return to take a look at the food creations of the 10 celebrities whose production has already begun in Melbourne.
Former Melbourne Victory star Thompson said, « The MasterChef’s kitchen is a long way from my usual home on the square, but I look forward to seeing what I can conjure up.
“When I found out I was joining the cast, I worked on my skills and tested my cooking skills on family and friends. I think I’ll be able to impress Mel, Jock and Andy with some of my signature dishes.
« It’s exciting to cook with so many people. It’s going to be a lot of fun! »
Riewoldt, a Fox Footy commentator, is more known for his skills on the soccer field, but Nova Breakfast co-host Swan recently used social media to show off some of her cooking skills.
Nineteen-year-old Ramsay is best known for hosting the BBC cooking show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch with her family. She has also performed at MasterChef Junior and lives between London and the USA.
