The first case is a close contact with Case 1133, a French backpacker who came to Perth from Queensland earlier this month.
The second case is said not to have been at the Perth Mess Hall event, but is standing in connection with the backpacker community in Perth.
« You are currently being interviewed by our contact tracers to determine exactly where you have been infected and what movements you may have made while you were infected, » said WA -Premier Mark McGowan on Wednesday.
The total number of locally acquired cases related to the recent outbreak is now twelve, including the first case, Case 1133.
