Bet 1: Back over 2.5 goals at Arsenal – Sunderland @ 40/85 – KO 19:45 GMT

The first semi-final of the Carabao Cup will take place tonight in the Emirates, and even with Arsenal likely to have a changed side, I still expect three goals in the game with the hosts having a good chance of scoring them all.

Winning a trophy will be for Mikel Arteta as he gives the young players a lot of confidence and this really is their best chance to lift silver this season.

Sunderland is third in League One and they have Blackpool and QPR among them in their run last eight already knocked out. While I wouldn’t exclude them from a goal, it’s hard to see that they are too competitive.

Bet 2: Back over 2.5 goals at Juventus against Cagliari @ 6/10 – KO 19:45 GMT
Juventus are only seventh in Serie A, but Massimiliano Allegri has them in better shape – unbeaten in five in all competitions, four of which were wins.

Cagliari is second down, and they only have one all season won. Their last two games have been 4-0 defeats and they have conceded two or more goals in seven of their eight away games this season.

The old lady hasn’t been particularly productive lately, but this is a great opportunity for their attackers to boost their self-confidence.

Bet 3: Back over 2.5 goals in Genoa – Atalanta @ 1/2 – KO 19:45 GMT
Atalanta have made 18 Serie A appearances this season, and 14 of their games have made those selections. Genoa’s statistics are not that good, but 12 of 18 have still scored three or more goals.

The guests are still in the title race at this half, because while they are in fourth place, they are behind the leaders only six points.

Genoa is third down and could have a long night ahead of them with four league losses on the go.
