LOS ANGELES (AP) – The union that represents film and television crews says its 60,000 members will go on a nationwide strike on Monday if it fails to reach an agreement that meets demands for fair and safe working conditions.

A strike would halt filming of a wide variety of film and television productions and would extend well beyond Hollywood and affect productions in Georgia, New Mexico, and other North American filming.
