Students in New South Wales will have their subjects revised for the first time in 30 years under a $ 196 million plan announced by the state government.
Treasurer Dominic Perrottet said more than 200 curriculum experts were consulted to ensure it offers a solid foundation in literacy and math and clearer after-school avenues that link learning with future employment or study.
For the first time in the country, the new curriculum would be rolled out on a new interactive digital portal.
â ?? The new curriculum and the portal save teachers time, improve clarity and make the implementation of the curricula even easierâ ?? Education Secretary Sarah Mitchell announced on Saturday.
The platform is under development and is expected to go live in the fourth semester of this year with the new K-2 curriculum for English and math.
