LEGO Ideas is home to some of the most unique and largest sets. But which of their extensive catalogs is best in terms of scope and themes?

From mechanical robots to recalls to classic themes, LEGO Ideas has become a favorite among the LEGO Group’s categorized sets. From recognizable licenses to ingeniously working builds, there have been some huge and undoubtedly impressive sets from the theme.

With the release of 21327 Typewriter, we thought it best to update the ranking of the biggest LEGO Ideas sets. Here are the models that made it:

As the latest addition to the LEGO Ideas list, the 21327 typewriter shows the exact, life-size and working construction of a 20th century typewriter.

With 2,079 pieces, this is new Set an eye-catcher for every writer and even comes with a signed letter from the CEO of the LEGO Group, Thomas Kirk Kristiansen.

21325 Medieval Blacksmith has 2,164 bricks and contains four exclusive minifigures. Classic LEGO Castle fans will no doubt have this set in mind as a tribute to the theme, with everything from a glowing forge to the return of the Black Falcons.

As discussed in our review, it’s the largest LEGO Castle Set, although it is not one of the iconic fortresses and offers a slice of the medieval world to every budding blacksmith.

21311 Voltron is the oldest set on this list with a release in 2018. At 2,321 pieces, this model contains the five iconic lions that make up the giant title mech.

What can we still say about 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay? This popular set is reminiscent of the daring days of LEGO Pirates and, as you can see in our review, contains a remake of a popular model and another fan favorite.

With 10 included minifigures referring to the legendary crew Referring to LEGO Pirates, and several Easter eggs found throughout the build, 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay is a must for sailors of the Seven Seas.

Four minifigures populate the 3,306-piece tree house and next to the main tree is a base with a flowing river and picnic bench. A good number of the extra pieces, however, come from some extra leaves that are geared towards fall and fall and can be added in place of the greener foliage.

Similar to 21327 Typewriter, a replica of a real-world object completes the list, but this one is admittedly not quite life-size. Still, it still works.

21323 Wings is the largest LEGO Ideas set with 3,662 parts with a huge miniature piano and an adjustable stool. You can see how the set works in our review, but a recently updated app allows the model to actually play sound.
