Without the skills of James Wan, the mainline entries in The Conjuring films feel lost. The latest film, The Devil Made Me Do It, ends up feeling more like one of the lackluster spin-offs than the core series of films that are addicting horror fans. Critic EJ Moreno thinks the film lacks the added quality to make it a worthwhile entry into this longstanding film franchise.
