CM – Watch: Nelly Korda almost makes it to the albatross in the final round of the KPMG Women’s PGA

Nelly Korda’s biggest advantage in her final-round showdown with Lizette Salas was seen on Sunday’s fifth par-5 hole at the Atlanta Athletic Club.

Korda hit a 7- on her second stroke. Holz and her ball flew from 243 yards to within a few meters of the hole.

Korda tapped Eagle while Salas birdie to take a two-stroke lead in a duel for the KPMGA Women’s PGA Championship title. Her lead was one when she played the par-5 12th. And for the second time in the round she made eagles. Korda’s approach shot has just cleared the water hazard and is within 15 feet of the hole. She made the putt while Salas did the bogey and Korda was put on a four-bar lead.

Lizette Salas and Nelly Korda pulled five off the field on Saturday after the third round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

It seems no coincidence that the relief for Lizette Salas and Nelly Korda has had a positive effect.
