Beyoncé performed in Brooklyn on Wednesday, wearing a range of pieces from some of New York’s hippest black designers.
The superstar took to Instagram to share a series of photos from her lunch with Jay-Z in New York this week. For the excursion, Beyoncé wore carthusian-colored, floral-printed trousers by CFDA-award-winning designer Christopher John Rogers, paired with a tied long-sleeved linen top. Bey complemented the look with a bright white, medium-sized tote bag made of vegan leather from the cult favorite Telfar from New York. She also wore dangling green statement earrings, nude platform pumps, and vintage-inspired sunglasses. The singer wore her honey-streaked hair in voluminous curls and made her makeup look fresh with a berry-colored lipstick. However, Bey went for a pop of color on her manicure and showed off her coral nails in the photos.
Beyoncé didn’t just share snapshots of her impeccable outfit. The pop star also included a photo of her 12-year-old husband, rapper Jay-Z, dressed casually in a light gray t-shirt, matching shorts, sunglasses and a bucket hat. Bey also shared a glimpse of their lunch together, including a glimpse of a delicious plate of fruit and a fun selfie of the singer hugging summer and sipping a glass of wine.
The star has held back since his surprise appearance at the 2021 Grammy Awards earlier this year. At the event, she made history as the most Grammy-awarded artist of all time, and her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also took home a trophy. Her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, recently hinted that Bey may already be working on a new project. « My daughter is, as always, busy working on something exciting, » Knowles-Lawson said in an interview with the Billboard Music Awards.
