Hannibal Season 4, a psychological thriller series is highly being anticipated to return to the screens once more. Based on the characters and elements from various Thomas Harris’ novels, it is about the relationship between FBI investigator Will Graham and a forensic psychiatrist Dr. Hannibal Lecter. Their relationship is somewhat special as Graham is the most cunning enemy but is also the only one to understand him.
Every season was critically acclaimed and received various awards for being the best series and for the cast’s stellar performance. The third season of Hannibal concluded in August 2015 and since then, fans have been waiting to get another season of it. NBC canceled the show after three seasons due to the low ratings.

As everyone is eager to revisit Will Graham and Hannibal, there’s a very good chance of finding a new home soon. So when that happens, expect to see most key players returning as Fuller has mentioned that most of them are willing to work for another season.
Mads Mikkelsen will return as Hannibal Lecter, without whom Hannibal won’t happen. Other returnees would include – Hugh Dancy as Will Graham, Gillian Anderson as Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier, Caroline Dhavernas as Alana Bloom, and Laurence Fishburne as Jack Crawford.
The previous seasons have been adapted from Red Dragon and Hannibal, and Bryan Fuller is hopeful for returning with another famous novel by Thomas Harris titled ‘Silence of the Lambs’. However, there have been issues about securing rights. As of now, there’s been no definite plan of this adaptation happening soon, but we do know that the format is already in Fuller’s mind.
So season 4 would re-examine the relationship between Hannibal and Will Graham in a new light. Expect a total reinvention of the series.
