Weltnachrichten – AU – Black Friday deals on headphones: Prices for top models from Bose, Beats, Sony, Jabra, Jaybird and Sennheiser have been lowered

. . Are you looking for a quote for a new pair of headphones? The discounts are already in progress.

. .

Black Friday deals run all month. Do you need better headphones to listen to your favorite songs or podcasts? We have compiled the best deals on Black Friday headphones for you. Some of the offers listed here apply to some of our favorite models. Sales aren’t limited to just one type of headphone – there are excellent bargains on on-ear, over-ear, noise canceling and true wireless headphones.

In some cases, headphone prices hit their all time lows or even drop below their all time lows. Here are the best headphone deals available right now. I will update this list as more models become available for sale and other offers expire.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Live Earbuds came out a few months ago, and we’re already seeing them at discounts. It’s not a huge discount, but $ 30 is almost 20% off. They have perhaps the most innovative design of the year and I rated them highly, even though the noise cancellation is relatively low. A word of caution: while they fit my ears well because of their bean-like shape, they don’t work for everyone. Read our Galaxy Buds Live Review.

Jabra’s Elite Active 75t earbuds are the more rugged version of the Elite 75t. Both models are some of the best true wireless earbuds out there and can now be upgraded with active noise cancellation via a software upgrade. (New models that recently hit stores may already have the upgrade. )

The Elite Active 75t buds look almost identical to the Elite 75t. However, upon closer inspection, you will find that the finish of the case and the earphones are different. Instead of the hard, smooth finish of the Elite Active 75t, the Active 75t has a soft finish with a touch of grip. Or, as Jabra put it, “they come with a permanent coating for dust and sweat resistance, and have increased IP water resistance from IP56 (the Elite Active 75t) to IP57, making them waterproof. « Read our Jabra Elite Active 75t review.

The AirPods Pro are selling for $ 190 on Woot, but that deal has popped up and gone in the past few weeks. Otherwise, they’ve been selling between $ 195 and $ 200 on Amazon and other retailers since mid-October. But savvy buyers will hold out until November. 25 if Walmart sells them for $ 169 (hopefully starting another price war).

> however). This is the first time we’ve seen them discounted.

In contrast to their step-up siblings, they have no active noise cancellation and one hour less battery life – five instead of six hours – and no wireless charging. Although they protrude from your ears, they’re noticeably smaller and lighter than the QuietComfort earbuds, and their body is around 30% to 40% smaller. The case is still not as small as the case of competitors like AirPods Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus, Galaxy Buds Live, and Jabra Elite 75t. But it feels pretty compact. Bose’s flagship noise-canceling headphones sold for $ 380 after starting at a list price of $ 400. You can now buy the white version for $ 299 while the black or silver version goes for $ 339. The Sony WH-1000XM4 sold for $ 278 – that’s probably the better deal if it comes back – but if you’ve had the Bose in your eyes, it’s a good price, especially for the white version. Read our Bose Noise Canceling 700 review.

The Jabra Elite 45h was released a few months ago and is now available for $ 80, 20% off its list price of $ 100. It is currently one of the best on-ear headphones ratings, with good sound quality, robust design and comfortable fit (at least for on-ear headphones). . Plus, it’s great as a headset for making phone calls and has a sidetone feature that lets you hear your voice in headphones so you don’t speak too loudly. The battery life is good too.

Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Plus have been out for a while, but they remain one of the better options for real money, with really good sound, call quality, and battery life, and a comfortable fit. They are solid value at $ 110 or $ 40 off their list price.

JBL’s Live 300 true wireless earbuds have been available since last year and have sporadically sold for $ 100. Now $ 75 is the lowest price we’ve seen for her. They are great-sounding earbuds that are suitable for sports use with their included sport fins and IPX5 water resistance (they can withstand a constant stream of water). . The battery life is six hours and they have an « environmentally aware » mode that lets in noise for safety reasons. They are available in four color options.

The WF-XB700 is part of the company’s Extra Bass range and is priced at $ 130. I tried them out and really liked their fit. Their sound quality doesn’t match that of the WF-1000XM3 or WF-SP800N (somewhat lacking in clarity), but if you like bass, they’re earbuds with decent sound. I found it a little expensive at $ 130. At $ 62 off, they’re a much more enticing option. $ 68 is their all time low. First, read our Sony WF-XB700 Extra Bass.

Although not available for over a year, the Plantronics BackBeat Fit 6100 wireless over-the-ear headphones are a great choice for both the gym and everyday use. The adjustable Sport-Fit headband has a waterproof and sweatproof IPX5 design. The headphones are equipped with 40 mm angular drivers and noise isolating ear cups with awareness mode. The battery life is 24 hours. I thought they were a bit pricey at $ 180 but good value at $ 80. Last year for Black Friday, they sold for $ 110.

The Beats Solo Pro are very good on-ear noise-canceling headphones. The only problem is they are overpriced at $ 300. At $ 170, they’re downright tempting. This is below the previous sale price of $ 200 we saw a few weeks ago and again below the low we saw before. Read our Beats Solo Pro review.

Sony’s latest noise-canceling headphones – and arguably the best noise-canceling headphones – were recently sold for $ 300 on Amazon as part of Prime Day. They’re now available for $ 278, the lowest price ever. Read our Sony WH-1000XM4 review.

The Beats Powerbeats Pro ($ 250 list price) is still a premium wireless sports model with many of the same features as Apple’s standard AirPods, but in a waterproof design with better sound. You can get certain colors for just $ 160 (spring yellow, moss green). Read our Beats Powerbeats Pro review.

The real wireless earbuds from the Swedish company Urbanista in London are a great alternative to the AirPods for less than half the price. They look very similar to Apple’s AirPods Pro and have noise cancellation with a transparency mode, plus a sensor that detects when you take the earbuds out of your ears and pause your music. They sound better than the AirPods Pro, with clear, balanced sound and punchy, well-defined bass and beautiful details. In addition, they are good for making phone calls and have good noise cancellation so people can hear you well, even if there is noise in the background.

Their only downside is that the touch controls are a bit limited and not as easy to use as the AirPods Pro. They also sound significantly different when you have them in ambient mode (transparency mode) and noise canceling mode. The battery life is five hours – just like the AirPods Pro – but that’s not as good as some of the latest true wireless noise-canceling earbuds. With the compact charging case, which is charged via USB-C, you get four additional charging processes.

At Amazon there is sporadically an instant coupon with a 20% discount, which reduces the price to 80 US dollars. So it might be worth waiting for.

If you can’t afford Sennheiser’s $ 300 Momentum True Wireless II, the CX 400BT earbuds are a cheaper option that also delivers great sound (though they’re a bit bulbous). . They’re a little expensive at $ 200 list price, but I had a feeling they’d see some discounts this holiday season and now they’re saving $ 70, which is roughly what they should cost. Read our Sennheiser CX 400BT review.

The Jabra Elite 85h is an affordable alternative to the more expensive premium noise-canceling headphones from Bose and Sony. It offers good sound, a comfortable fit, and great voice call performance, which makes it a good option for working from home. Read our Jabra Elite 85h review.

Bose’s Noise Canceling 700 headphones ($ 379) are the company’s current flagship noise-canceling headphones. However, in the past few weeks we’ve seen the older, but arguably more comfortable, QuietComfort 35 II get big discounts. It’s only $ 199 now, the lowest we’ve seen for her.

Note that with the discount on its new WH-1000XM4 at $ 278, Sony may also get the Noise Canceling 700 headphones when we go on vacation. Read our QuietComfort 35 II review.

The WF-1000XM3 earbuds are priced at $ 230 and are now widely available for sale, although $ 168 is near their low price point. They’re still the best-sounding wireless earbuds in this price range and they also feature active noise-canceling technology to help reduce ambient noise.

The only downside is that the WF-1000XM3 earbuds are not classified as sweatproof or waterproof headphones. That said, I’ve used them for light workouts with a bit of sweat in the gym with no problem. You are using Bluetooth 5. 0 with support for AAC, but not aptX.

Note that we expected Sony to release the next generation WF-1000XM4, but at this point we may not see them until 2021. Read our Sony WF-1000XM3 review.

This is a great price on the Jaybird Vista, a good set of true wireless sports earbuds that really click into your ears (they’re some of the top picks for runners) and are completely waterproof. The Vista has been out of stock for a while, so it needs an update – maybe that’s why it is on sale – but if a new model comes out soon it will likely cost around $ 180. Read our Jaybird Vista review.

It has taken a while, but now we finally have a new true wireless noise-canceling sports model from Sony: the WF-SP800N. Funnily enough, at the end of my mostly positive review, I wrote that I’d like to see them more in the $ 160-175 range. They had dropped to $ 127 recently, but the current price of $ 148 is still $ 50 off the list and $ 20 off its usual street price.

This isn’t quite the WF-1000XM3 with a waterproof case. It lacks Sony’s QN1e processor, but there is still a lot to like, including excellent sounds, solid noise cancellation, and good call quality. It’s definitely a significant upgrade from the WF-SP700N that came out in 2018, and its « arches » (sport fins) lock the buds in your ears. Just make sure that you close one of the earplugs provided tightly, otherwise both the noise and noise suppression will be poor. Read our Sony WF-SP800N review.

If you can’t afford Sony’s WH-1000XM4, the company’s entry-level WH-CH710N noise-canceling headphones are available at an affordable price. They don’t offer the sound quality, build quality, or noise-canceling performance of Sony’s 1000X models, but they are good value for money for $ 88. I don’t think they’re worth anywhere near $ 200 at their list price.
