Heidi Klum has always made it clear that privacy is important to her, especially when it comes to her family.

Paparazzi photos of their children Leni, Johan, Henry and Lou were always pixelated for their protection.

However, at the age of 16, Leni Klum received Heidi permission to make her modeling debut, which must be daunting given her mother’s career.

“If you’re allowed to drive, you can have an official Instagram account and show your face. And to start with a Vogue cover is an amazing privilege. ”

Heidi was right by Leni’s side for her first cover shoot for one of the most respected fashion and lifestyle magazines in the world.

The photographer Chris Colls photographed both Leni and Heidi, the cover of which will appear in the January issue of Vogue Germany.

Leni always wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a model. She says her first job offer came when she was around 13.

When her mother asked her whether she was cool or not, Leni said no. “Sometimes the way you act is very uncomfortable. Like some dances that you do. « But she adds, » You’re cool when you’re confident, which is most of the time. And fun. But some of your dances are very uncool. ”

In her interview with Vogue Germany, Leni shows that she [mainly] wears streetwear. . Dickies, Wrangler or no-brand basics « . Her closet is pretty empty and only has a couple of T-shirts, pants and jackets as she often has see-through outs and either gives pieces to her sister or sells them at Depop.

The only thing she’s attached to are the field hockey sweatpants she stole from her boyfriend. “My younger siblings love high fashion with logos – Supreme, Off-White, A Bathing Ape. I’m less interested in these brands, ”she says.
