The US financial services software company SS&C Technology has withdrawn its offer to acquire all shares in Link Group (ASX: LNK). . The offer was for $ 5. 65 per share as part of the conditional, non-binding and indicative proposal in December last year to acquire all of the company’s shares. Upon examination, the Board did not find the proposal convincing. SS&C’s proposal followed offers from Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) and The Carlyle Group. The Link Group will continue to look for alternatives to maximize value, including a possible separation of its stake in Torrens Group Holdings.
