SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – A Forge FC employee and two Haiti’s Arcahaie FC players were on stage ahead of the Scotiabank CONCACAF League quarter-finals on Tuesday night.

CONCACAF said all three had been isolated. All other players and staff tested negative, with the game going on as planned.

One win and the Canadian Premier League champions from Hamilton get a place in the CONCACAF Champions League, the top club tournament in the Confederation.

The four quarter-final winners of the CONCACAF League with 22 teams, a feeder competition, qualify directly for the Champions League 2021. The four lost quarter-finalists compete in single-game matches, with the two winners moving on.

Arcahaie is playing the game in the Dominican capital, Santo Domingo, in order to use the larger Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez.

The Haitians advanced in November. 5 with a 3-1 round of 16 win over Waterhouse FC in Kingston, Jamaica. Forge beat Panama’s Tauro FC 2-1 in Panama City two days earlier.
